CAPITULUM is the new version of what was previously known as the Compositae Newsletter, that ran from 1975 to 2012. Since 2021 we publish in the form of a scientific journal to which we affixed the name of the morphological structure classically associated with the family. The spirit remains the same as that of the original newsletter: to be a venue for all things Compositae and welcome all kinds of diversity in both its contributions and contributors. Capitulum is peer-reviewed and all articles are citable with a unique DOI.
You are most welcome to browse our collection of Compositae-related articles here on the website, including the most current issue and all archived issues (since 2021). Please consult our author guidelines, which includes information on article types, if you are considering submitting an article for publication.
To read the issues and articles published in the old Compositae Newsletter, please find the full archives on Biodiversity Heritage Library.
